Hey friends! My Malingo side of life is cooking and just dropping a brand new EP for you all! Check it out on the link below! It's such a blast to explore the mandolin with Malingo and stretch the sonic landscape and tone like we do on this album.
MALINGO
SPACE
In the simplest of terms, this is the theme of our new EP, Space: it’s about letting go of attachments and acknowledging that you can change your mind…even about things you hold dear.
This set of songs is a genre-bending sonic exploration, packed full of emotion. You can’t really call it folk or bluegrass, even though it’s played with those instruments. It probably has more in common with post-rock. But in any case, we took great care in crafting these songs, and they have so much heart that they’re practically bursting at the seams. We sincerely hope you love them.
